The employer is an educationl institution. The Head of Schools is superintendent level position, that also serves as the K-6 principal. The Head of Schools is accountable to the Board of Directors as the authority in charge of (1) implementing the vision, mission, and philosophy of the school, (2) maintaining the academic integrity of the school and faculty, (3) supervising the 7-12 grade principal, (4) managing the school and faculty, (5) overseeing the administration of federal programs, (6) supervising students. In addition, the Head of Schools should set budget priorities with the business manager and have general knowledge of the school's fiscal status. As the leader of the school, the Head of Schools must have high moral character and embrace the virtues of a democratic society. He/she is the executive decision maker for the operation of the School and is ultimately responsible for the success of the education of the pupils in accordance with the principles established in the charter document and the vision of the school as directed by the Board of Directors. M.Ed. and State of Idaho Administrative Certificate/Endorsement Substantial Classroom Experience Ability to Speak and Write Clearly and Persuasively Experience in Federal Programs Administration Commitment to Classical Education Ability to Oversee a Classically-based Education
