This includes receiving and interpreting the physicianA?s order, entering it into the pharmacy system software, preparing the medication for dispensing, completing appropriate documentation and charging the patient. The Pharmacy Technician also assures that all areas are stocked with medications and other supplies Essential Job Functions Compound, prepare and process medications/medication orders for final verification by the pharmacist.
