Position Overview
This is a skilled position requiring the employee to perform a variety of office support functions.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
:Typing, filing, data entry, copying, preparing, shipping, and distributing courier packages, composition and editing correspondence, etc.
:Operate office equipment including, but not limited to: multi line phone system, computers, copiers, fax machines, printers, etc.
:Knowledge of Microsoft Office software preferred: Word, Excel, etc.
:Minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute.
:Knowledge of basic office practices and protocol.
:Other duties as assigned per supervisor.

:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Requirements
:One (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
:Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Outlook.
:Ability to operate office equipment, including but not limited to: computers, copiers, 10:key adding machine, printers, fax machines and scanners.
:Excellent customer service skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
:Ability to write clearly and effectively.
:Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
:Ability common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
:Ability to work well with others in a group or one on one setting.
:To perform this job successfully, an individual should have (or be able to quickly gain) knowledge of Command Alkon, Internet software, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
